Emily Moncuit |Director
Background;
Originally from London Emily speaks Polish and French in addition to her native English. She has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Renaissance to Restoration Literature. She spent some of her childhood in California.
Experience;
Emily has supported the Royal Society of Literature with their events programme and spent time networking with the UK’s decision making community managing. When relocating to the North of the UK, Emily worked for the New Deal for Communities regeneration programme holding management responsibilities in various specialist areas including housing and the environment and stakeholder management. She holds extensive knowledge around community engagement and government regeneration and works closely with local authorities and support agencies. She is also a qualified Prince 2 Project Management practitioner. In 2009 she launched Icon Women – a social enterprise focusing on supporting women in business and in 2010 is spending time working in Poland with a range of public sector partners.
What does Emily do?
Emily works on developing the client base of Icon Events. She is the first port of call for clients, providing support in developing engagement ideas that lead to creative purpose driven events.
