Melvyn Moncuit | Events Director
Background;
Born in Saint Vaast la Hougue, (Normandy, France) Melvyn’s appreciation of quality food, wine and service standards support the Icon Events’ working ethos. Raised in Doncaster (Yorkshire) means his no nonsense A to B approach is friendly and supportive.
Experience;
Having worked for Marshalls Mono plc’s quarrying division with responsibility for process managing; OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety, ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental accredited standards. Managing integrated management systems means Melvyn has joined Icon Events with project management responsibilities. Prior to Marshalls, Melvyn gained his national licensee and a wealth of hospitality experience while working for Wards Brewery, Swallows Inns and more recently Whitbread’s with a particular responsibility for venue management.
What does Melvyn do?
Melvyn specialises in process and performance manages the quality and frameworks of Icon Events. He is a particularly safe pair of hands when it comes to finance and is able to advise clients on event budgeting.
