Melvyn Moncuit | Events Director
Background;
Born in Saint Vaast la Hougue, (Normandy, France) Melvyn’s appreciation of quality food, wine and service standards supports the Icon Events’ working ethos. Raised in Doncaster Yorkshire, Melvyn has a no nonsense A to B approach which is both friendly and supportive.
Experience;
In his last job, Melvyn worked for Marshalls Mono plc’s quarrying division with responsibility for process managing OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety, ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental accredited standards. Managing integrated management systems means Melvyn holds responsibilities in all operational and project management areas of the business. Prior to Marshalls, Melvyn gained his national licensee and a wealth of hospitality experience while working for Wards Brewery, Swallows Inns and more recently Whitbread’s with a particular responsibility for venue management. He has a keen interest in managing the logistics of large scale event projects ensuring that a robust management approach is implemented from inception to completion. Over the last 2 years he has also assumed the lead role for managing company finance.
What does Melvyn do?
Melvyn specialises in the logistics and operational process for Icon Events and performance manages the quality and management frameworks of Icon Events.
