Bethan Davies | Event and Office Co-ordinator
Background;
Bethan lives in Sheffield, and speaks basic Mandarin and conversational French. She also has a BA in International Business.
Experience;
Whilst at university, Bethan spent 9 months living in China, studying Chinese language and culture. During this time she also taught British culture to Chinese university students, providing an overview of what life is like in the United Kingdom. Throughout her study, Bethan worked on both corporate and entertainment events, this inspired her to pursue a career in event management. She has worked in venues such as The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, Sheffield O2 Academy, Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield Hallam FM Arena, Litestructures in Wakefield as well as working at Leeds Festival 2009. In October 2009 she also worked with artist and author Michael McMillan on his book launch of ‘The Front Room’ in London.
What does Bethan do?
Bethan supports the Client Services Manager in developing and delivering projects as well as co-ordinating all office activities.
